This is a highly recommended introductory course that teaches the principles of culture-specific evangelism. Each people group has their own unique culture, worldview, and way of processing information. Are we preaching a Western Gospel to those of different cultures? This course lays the groundwork of understanding the intersection of culture, worldview and The Gospel. You will be introduced to exciting stories of God making himself personally known to people groups around the world. This course is followed by CSE 201 which focuses more specifically on how The Gospel can be made more culturally relevant to the Japanese.
